DS1232

The DS1232 Micro Monitor monitors three important aspects of the microprocessor: power supply, software execution, and other overrides. First, the temperature sensor is recharged for use, and the voltage comparator monitors the status of the VCC. When a fault occurs, an internal power fault signal is generated that forces a reset to the active state. When the VCC returns to tolerance, the reset signal remains active for at least 250 ms to stabilize the power supply and equipment. The second function performed by the DS1232 is the push-button reset control.

TJ3485

The TJ3485 is a low-power half-duplex transceiver that complies with the RS-485 and RS-422 specifications. The IC consists of a driver and a receiver. The drives have a limited bandwidth that allows them to transfer up to 5 Mbps. These transceivers draw 120uA to 500uA supply current at no load or full load with the driver disabled. The drive is limited by short-circuit current and protected from overvoltage by a thermal shutdown circuit that puts the drive output in a high-impedance state. Receiver inputs are not secure and guarantee high logic output when the input circuit is open. The ESD tolerance of the human body model exceeds ±8kV and the ESD tolerance of the IEC61000-4-2 air outlet exceeds ±15kV.

MAX485

The MAX485 is a half-duplex transceiver that meets the RS-485 and RS-422 specifications. The BiCMOS design allows low-power operation without sacrificing performance. The MAX485 supports RS-485 and RS-422 protocols up to 5 Mbps. The ESD tolerance of the human body model exceeds ±8kV and the ESD tolerance of the IEC61000-4-2 air outlet exceeds ±15kV.
