Types of Crystal
Crystal Filter:
Crystal filters permit some number of frequencies to pass through the electrical circuits while reducing unwanted frequencies. Crystal filters are mechanically stable and used low resonant frequency while changing operating temperatures. Crystal filter is known as a Band Pass filter.

TCXOs/VCTCXOs:
TCXO is known as a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator which uses when there is high stability with variant temperatures. It generates greater power dissipation than ordinary oscillator as it has additional circuity required.
VCXOs
VCXO is commonly known as a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator. VCXOs frequency determines by crystal however it can be adjusted by a small amount of control voltage. VCXOs used a diode to tune the frequency of the signal this process is known as pulling frequency.
